Daisy Wedding Cupcakes

These 100+ cupcakes were made for the daughter of a friend.  I love these bright, cheerful colors!  The daisies are gumpaste.  The cake is a 6″ cutting cake.  For flavors on these we did white cupcakes with cookie & cream filling (6″ cake was also this flavor), chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter filling, and banana chocolate chip cupcakes with banana cream filling.

The Big 1-0 !

This cake was made for 2 beautiful girls turning 10 years old!  The cake was made from 2 9×13 cakes that I cut in half and stacked up.  The accents are fondant.  I also made up a few cupcakes to go along with them (see below).  The design was based on a party napkin that was being used for the party.

PB, Bananas & Spice!

Yeah those 3 don’t really go together (at least for me) but they do make 3 lovely separate cupcakes!  These are the flavors I sent off with my husband for his August work cake last week.

Graduation Cupcakes

My cousin graduated from high school this year and last weekend we celebrated his graduation with a party – and of course cupcakes! 🙂  Flavors this time…

  • Chocolate Cupcake with Peanut Butter icing and a half of a PB cup on top
  • Cappuccino Cupcake with Coffee Icing and a chocolate covered coffee bean on top
  • Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate icing
  • Vanilla Cupcakes with strawberry filling and cream cheese icing

While all were eaten and loved, I’d say the overall winner from this batch was the peanut butter ones.  Those flew out the window in no time! 🙂  On the vanilla cupcakes, I made up some fondant decorations to show both his high school and future college.

Baby Shower Yummies!

This cake was for a baby shower ~ the mom-to-be wanted a main decorative cake plus yummy cupcakes on the side.

This cake was an 8″ & 12″.  Buttercream with fondant accents.  The bow and shoes are fondant/gumpaste blends. I did a similar cake in the past that she loved but instead of a fondant elephant like that one had, she wanted the little girly baby shoes.

The cupcakes were yummy flavors ~ raspberry cupcakes with white chocolate icing, chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting & chopped pb cups, lemon cupcakes with lemon icing, and [not pictured] strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing and a strawberry on top!

Softball Cupcakes

These were some last minute cupcakes I whipped up for a friend to take to their softball game to celebrate a birthday there.  The bright green is not only the birthday girl’s favorite color but also the color of their team shirts! 🙂

Woodland Baby Shower

We celebrated the birth of my nephew this weekend with a post-baby shower and get together for him.  My sister picked the theme of vintage woodland ~ and it turned out great!  She has a great designing mind…unlike myself! 🙂  But I, of course, was in charge of desserts.  On the dessert table:

Ballet Cupcakes

Think Spring!  Pastels and flowers… I made these cupcakes for the reception after my daughter’s ballet demonstration in April.  Pretty cupcakes for some pretty ballerinas!
