Yes – that says CHRISTMAS. I was editing some pics of cakes I’ve done this week and I ran across 2 cakes from mid/end Dec that I had forgotten to post! So here’s one…better late than never!
This was the December work cake for my husband’s work. It is a 6″ square on a 10″ square, iced in BC and fondant ribbons, bow and holly.
Merry (late) Christmas! 
I’m always amazed at how fast the month of December flies by. I don’t know why I am STILL surprised by this because it happens EVERY single year. 
Every year I take part in a cookie exchange where my decorated cookies expected! I love doing exchanges because its a great opportunity to get a variety of tasty things without having to do all that different baking.
So here are the cookies I made this year…I’m particularly fond of the trees & ornaments. My daughters both liked the presents. The fondant bows were a bit tedious but well worth it when I saw the end result.
And later that week I had some leftover cupcakes so I made up some minty icing and striped it to create some mint chocolate cupcakes to donate with some of my cookies for a bake sale. Yum!
I had a cake dummy covered from the class I taught last night. Plus I had the bow I showed them how to make so I tried to decide what to do with it… This is what I came up with and it was done kinda fast 
So not perfect but still fun. Its pink & brown stripes – lighting wasn’t the bestwhen I took this pic. The bow and fondant ribbon holding it are are dusted in pearl dust.
